Triumph TR2. My first racecar in 1957. At 17 with fake ID

A TR-3 with a small mouth. I had to trade it for a '64 Corvair Spyder so I could carry 4. I came home from the ballet, Spartacus, I remember, and found it Molotoved where it was parked.
By the way. Hadn't anyone pointed out to Ralph Nader that a $39 camber compensator gave the right stability to 'Vairs, Spitfires and VDubs?

Here's an odd little duck that I'd Autocrossed. It had been a 997cc BMC powered Turner but the 10" and 12" wide wheels and flares hint at steroids. The engine and trans were Mazda 13b with over three times the power the chassis was designed for. The inside front wheels lifted 4 inches off the ground from the chassis flex and the tires overheated and marbled. I was beaten by much slower cars and mumbled a lot.

On the subject of 'odd ducks', this was the last of the imaginative Rene Hollander built Eatanters. The Formula Libre open wheeled Mk4 was powered by a supercharged 2L British Ford engine. I attempted to sportify it with a Cicale body, but funding.....You know.

My homemade body on a 'Mach 3' F440.

No, it's not a Ferrari. It's a McLaren MK4A that Tom Callicott cleverly hand built a T310 body for.

This one was just a highly modified 2.0 Cortina, but I'd had two Lotus-Cortinas in the colors plus a red with black Alan Mann pushrod Cortina that was as fast as any of the twin-cams.
